SUSTAINABILITY
Each hat is handwoven from natural jute straw locally grown in Bali and Java, by our female artisan community in Bali, organized by Ibu Rintana. Jute is a natural fiber derived from plants, which is also known as 'The Golden Fiber'. The long, soft and shiny fibers are spun into coarse, strong threads that are then put to a multitude of uses. The interesting thing about growing jute is that it hardly needs fertilizers and pesticides, making it one of the best choices for the environmental-friendly material.
